Welcome to puku ("we," "our," or "us"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the puku iOS application ("App").
Account information: Your email address when you create an account. If you sign in with Apple, we receive a unique identifier and an optional email address provided by Apple.
Wardrobe photos: Photos of clothing items and optional body photos you upload for outfit visualization. Stored securely in your private account.
Wardrobe metadata: AI-generated labels (clothing type, color, style, occasion) and outfit combinations you save.
Usage data: Feature interactions and app usage frequency, used to improve the service and fix issues.
Device information: Device type and OS version for troubleshooting and compatibility.
Biometric data: Face ID is handled entirely by iOS via Apple's Secure Enclave. We never store, access, or transmit your biometric data.
Anthropic (Claude AI): Your wardrobe photos and style prompts are sent to Anthropic's API to generate outfit suggestions and categorize clothing. Anthropic's Privacy Policy applies to data processed by Claude.
Supabase: Used for secure authentication and data storage. Your data is stored in encrypted databases with row-level security — only your account can access your data.
Apple Sign In: If you authenticate with Apple, Apple's privacy policy governs that authentication process. We only receive what Apple provides.
Your data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure with AES-256 encryption at rest and TLS 1.2+ in transit. Row-level security policies ensure only your account can access your wardrobe and photos.
If a security breach affects your data, we will notify you promptly as required by applicable law.
We retain your data while your account is active. When you delete your account, all personal data — wardrobe photos, outfit history, and account information — is permanently deleted within 30 days.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the puku iOS application. By downloading or using puku, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
You must be at least 13 years old to use puku. By using the App you confirm this. Users under 18 confirm they have obtained parental or guardian consent.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use at support@puku.app.
You own the photos and content you upload to puku. By uploading content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process it solely to provide the App's features (outfit generation, categorization, storage). We do not claim ownership of your photos.
You agree not to upload content that is illegal, obscene, or violates the rights of others.
Outfit suggestions are produced by AI and intended for personal style guidance only. They do not constitute professional fashion advice. AI suggestions may occasionally be imperfect — use your own judgment. We are not responsible for wardrobe decisions made based on AI recommendations.

The puku name, logo, design, and software are owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not use our branding, trademarks, or copyrighted material without prior written permission.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI suggestions will always be accurate or suitable for every occasion.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, puku and its owners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App. Our total liability shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) $100 USD.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, with or without notice. You may terminate your account at any time via App settings. Termination does not entitle you to a refund of any fees paid.
We may update these Terms. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by applicable law without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation, followed by binding arbitration if unresolved.
